Story

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is proud to launch its first Walk of Light this June around the glorious setting of Watermead Lake and Meadowcroft. This is a chance for our local community to come together to remember loved ones and show their support for the vital work done by our Hospice team here in Aylesbury, and in communities across Buckinghamshire and its borders.

By sponsoring one of our Walkers you will help us be there to support and care for our patients and their families, helping them make the most of the time they have left with each other and making those final precious memories.

It's only thanks to the funds raised by our supporters that we are able to develop and deliver the hospice services which make such a difference to our patients final days and how their loved ones will remember this time.

- £40 could pay for the first visit to a patients home, helping them to spend their final days with their loved ones and surrounded by familiar things

- £152 could pay to run our Day Hospice for an hour.

- £290 could help funds a nurse's shift for FNH@Home

- £3,500 could fund a year of Florrie's Respite Care for one family
