Since 1982 Thames Valley Adventure Playground has been providing exceptional opportunities and support - making a difference to the lives of many.

Last year children and adults with all types of special need made over 15,000 visits to our specially designed, inclusive, accessible and unique playground. They traveled from right across the Thames Valley, and beyond, as there are so few places closer to home where they can experience all the fun and freedom of adventure play - opportunities which those without a disability so often take for granted.

We were also able to provide many families with respite days, giving parents, siblings and carers a break from their caring responsibilities, whilst their loved one has some independent fun in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

This year we would like to reach, and support, more special needs people and the families and carers, so they too can benefit from what we offer and our supportive community

Fundraising plays an absolutely crucial part in keeping us going, and with annual costs of £350,000, and only 5% of what we need coming from local authority funding, you can be absolutely certain that the money is greatly appreciated and put to very good use.
