Story

Every year hundreds of supporters across the country join us and Walk In Her Name. It's a great way honour and celebrate a woman in your life with ovarian cancer. Last year alone, 3,966 miles were walk - that's over 7,932,000 steps!

You can Walk In Her Name in your own way. We were all there for one reason: to remember Heidi and the amazing person she was. Gareth, OCA supporter

By hosting your own Walk In Her Name you will be helping us to fund scientific research, including the vital work of scientists at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre and the University of Oxford. They have already made some exciting discoveries, which could lead to a screening tool for ovarian cancer. And an ability to screen women for the disease could save lives. This year we are asking you to join us for the fifth Walk In Her Name and walk it your way to a future where no woman dies from ovarian cancer.

Will you walk with us to make this possible?

Let's walk towards a world where no woman dies of ovarian cancer!

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
