Story

From now until October 16th, gather your friends, family, and coworkers to raise money and walk to support the 771 million people globally who do not have access to clean water close to home.

Start today by creating your own fundraising page. You can set your walking goals and make it interactive by linking your Strava fitness app to track your distance (click here for more information on the Strava app). Alternatively, you can print and use our distance tracker to always have your progress nearby.

Walk for the millions of women and children, like Tiyamike ,14 years old. She lives in a remote village in Malawi. She has to walk to collect water every morning, which means she is often late for school. Tiyamike walks around 4km a day for water.

The distance to the water source is very long. I wish we could have clean water in our community where I no longer have to wake very early simply to collect dirty water.
