Story

Help Fundraise for University Hospitals Dorset at Walk for Wards!

Join us for our flagship fundraising event, Walk for Wards, where we aim to raise vital funds for University Hospitals Dorset.

Experience the beauty of the Woodlands and Poole Bay as you embark on a memorable walk of 3km, 5km, or 10km. The gates will open at 11:30 am, allowing you to take in the stunning scenery at your own pace. After the walk, enjoy the local makers' market, delicious refreshments, and live music.

This event is designed to cater to everyone, regardless of age or ability. It's the perfect opportunity for a fun-filled family day out. Bring your furry friends along too—they're more than welcome to join in on the action!

Whether you walk in honor of a loved one, support a ward close to your heart, or simply want to show your local hospitals some love, Walk for Wards offers a beautiful walk and an atmosphere of community spirit. Together, we can make a difference to the lives of people across Dorset.

This year holds special significance as we celebrate the 75th Birthday of the NHS. As part of the festivities, we invite participants to help celebrate this incredible milestone by raising sponsorship for their chosen ward. How about setting yourself a challenge to raise £75?

We can't wait to see you there!
