Get outside and hit your local neighbourhoods, tracks, and parks and walk, run or roll to show your support for North Shore ConneXions. The event starts on May 1 and ends May 7 and you can go as far and as often as you want ... anywhere, anytime.
It's easy to participate .. .set up your own fundraising page by clicking the orange START FUNDRAISNG button. Share the link and encourage your friends, family and coworkers to pledge a certain amount per km traveled or to donate a flat amount. You can even connect your page to your Strava App. profile to track how far you've gone.
Share photos or videos of you reaching your personal goal on social media for a chance to WIN SOME COOL PRIZES! Don't forget to use the hashtags #walkforconnexions and #walkandroll!

North Shore ConneXions Society has been providing services for people with intellectual disabilities in North Vancouver for 65 years. We are passionate advocates, community leaders, caregivers, and volunteers. Our common goal of community inclusion for all underpins our programs and initiatives. Our strength lies in the desire to constantly improve, listen to the people we serve, and work with families and self-advocates to bring about the social change we champion.
Our Mission is to support families and serve children and adults living with intellectual disabilities by:
1. Providing quality programs and services which support the development, independence and empowerment of adults, children and families
2. Working in partnership with adults, children, families, Society members and members of the community
3. Advocating for and developing a full range of community based services to meet the unique needs of each person and family
