Story

Together we will combat the stigma and secrecy surrounding eating disorders. Together, we will Walk & Talk.

Enjoy a relaxed stroll through the spectacular Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, meeting new friends united by a shared vision to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. Whether you're bringing a team, or attending alone, you will be welcomed by a friendly and compassionate group walking together to make a real impact.

There's something special about the conversations we have while walking. With eating disorders being such secretive illnesses, talking helps to combat stigma and encourage understanding.

We're asking every walker to aim to raise £50 for Beat's work. Every penny will help end pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. Beat's free services are accessible 365 days a year, and thanks to committed fundraisers like you, 40,000 people will benefit over the next year.

If you would like to chat about the event or fundraising, our Community Fundraising Officer Andrea is here to help! Reach her on fundraising@beateatingdisorders.org.uk or 01603 753335.
