The severity of our financial losses due to the cancellation of events and fundraising plans, as well as the closure of our charity shops due to the coronavirus pandemic is undeniable. We are predicting a shortfall of more than £2 million, putting the future of Shooting Star Childrens Hospices in the balance so we need your support more than ever.

We are devastated that we have had to cancel this years Sunrise Walks. The walks were due to bring in over £130,000 of much needed funds as well as bringing together our amazing families, friends and supporters however, just because we cant watch the sunrise together, it doesnt mean we cant virtually watch it together.

Do the Sunrise Walk your way, choose to do a sunset walk or walk somewhere from sunset to sunrise (or the other way round?). All we ask is that you share your sunrise or sunset pictures with us for our Sunrise Walk gallery.

Whatever you choose to do, we encourage you and those in your household to get up bright and early, watch the sunrise and help us to continue to be there to make every moment count.
