Story
COVID-19 has caused fear and concern for all of us in the UK, as we worry about what it means for our own safety and the safety of those we love. But for myeloma patients, identified from the earliest Government daily press conferences as being at particularly high risk, the fear and distress is particularly high.
Myeloma UK is committed to supporting patients, their families and carers through this most difficult time and one of the ways we are doing this is by providing the COVID-19 Information Hub which is kept up to date with the latest information, guidance and advice. Myeloma UK evaluates the impact of COVID-19 for people with myeloma and related conditions and continuously update the Hub with this vital information.
In addition to this the Myeloma Infoline and Ask the Nurse email service have been inundated with calls and emails and there's no limit on how many questions you can ask or long you can talk for, whether you're a patient, family member or a carer they are there to help. You can call them on 0800 980 3332.
Your support is appreciated now more than ever before and on behalf of everyone affected by myeloma thank you very much for helping us to support patients and their families throughout this difficult time.
