Be Your Greatest and support the exceptional work of Methodist Homes (MHA) by running in the Official Virtual Great North Run.

Although this year we wont be on the start line or waiting for you at the finish, you will have us cheering you on in spirit!

This virtual half marathon race will be held on the weekend that would have hosted the event, 13 September 2020. It is free to participate and open to all runners, whether you had a Great North Run place or not.

This unique event is a 13.1 mile race with an app available for you to experience the sounds of the race as you run including the tunnel and Red Arrows flying over you.

Entries open 3 August so mark the date in your diary and visit www.greatrun.org to register.

Once you have registered with the Great North Run you can set up a Just Giving page to help raise much needed funds for MHA, helping us provide life enhancing services to enable older people to live later life well.
