The Young Carers Festival (YCF) at YMCA Fairthorne Manor is the world’s largest gathering of young carers, offering a unique opportunity for young people to have fun, unwind, make new friends, and try new things. Event highlights include fairground rides, live music, outdoor films, fireworks, and the legendary silent disco. Beyond the fun, YCF provides a vital political platform, empowering young carers to share their experiences and influence national and local policies on the issues they face.

We are fundraising to take a group of Vibe UK young carers from the Knowsley area to this transformative event in 2025. This experience will allow young carers to connect with others who share similar challenges, build meaningful relationships, and feel part of a wider supportive community. Aligned with Vibe’s RF4 framework, the festival emphasises the importance of positive relationships, emotional well-being, and resilience. By attending, our young carers will not only enjoy much-needed respite but also have their voices amplified to create meaningful societal change.
