Diagnostics provide our care teams with the data needed for patient diagnosis and treatment in every area of care throughout our hospitals.

Rapid and accurate medical assessments at our hospitals are critical for a patients chances of recovery and quality of life. Every year, over 5.2 million laboratory tests are performed at Royal Jubilee and Victoria General Hospitals, guiding 60-70% of all medical decisions. More than 285,000 medical imaging procedures are performed annually at our hospitals. Advanced medical imaging allows radiologists and other physicians to go beneath the surface and quickly assess what is happening inside the body, and over half of all healthcare encounters requires medical imaging.

By creating your own fundraiser, it allows the opportunity to recognize the Diagnostics & Pharmacy teams for their dedicated work and empowers them to save lives by funding critically needed equipment.
