We urgently need your help to keep our Help With Vet Bills scheme going 💛

Almost every week, we hear from a local pet owner facing a heart-breaking situation. Their beloved pet needs urgent veterinary care, but they simply cannot afford the treatment. For these families, our Help With Vet Bills scheme can be the difference between a pet getting care or suffering in silence.

We also help with preventative care like neutering, which stops unwanted litters and reduces the number of animals ending up in rescue 🐾 This support protects not just individual pets, but the wider animal community too.

Last year alone, we helped 42 pets through this scheme across South London. That is nearly one pet every week receiving care they otherwise might not have had.

But now we are facing real pressure. As a small self funded branch, this scheme relies on donations and income from our three charity shops. With rising costs and more challenges for small charities like us, this income is no longer stretching as far as it once did.

We already have pets waiting and owners asking for help. Without more donations, we will have to reduce how many animals we can support. That means more pets going without vital care 😔
