On 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela within seconds, leaving families without homes, access to food, medicines and other essential supplies. Communities are facing uncertainty as they begin the difficult task of recovering from this devastating disaster.

At Care Venezuela, we are launching an Emergency Earthquake Appeal to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to those affected.

To ensure support reaches the communities that need it most, we are working alongside trusted local partners already responding on the ground. In La Guaira, one of the hardest-hit states, we are partnering with Somos Comunidad, a local organisation coordinating the distribution of emergency food and essential medicines. As the emergency response develops, Care Venezuela is actively establishing additional partnerships with trusted humanitarian organisations in other affected regions of the country to extend the reach of this appeal and respond to evolving needs.
