Visit the charity's profileTo celebrate and recognise the wonderful UK nursing and midwifery family Cavell Nurses Trust is encouraging people to run or walk 5k to help raise vital money for nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants in hardship right now.
Cavells Valentines Day Virtual 5k will see participants putting on their trainers to run or walk 5k between 8th - 21st February 2021.

By sponsoring those who are registered for their 5k you'll be helping to build a long term safety net for nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants suffering a personal or financial crisis.
Since March 2020, when the pandemic hit the UK, weve seen a 175% increase in the number of UK nursing and midwifery staff needing our help compared to the same period the year before. Consequently we have given out nearly 3 times as much funding to help these people facing a personal or financial crisis.
