Story
People with blood cancer deserve the same answers about whether the covid vaccines work as the rest of the population.
But the Government isnt providing the funding to do it properly. Thats why were committed to funding as much research as possible to find answers about the covid vaccines for people with blood cancer.
While you may not be able to stand on the street or in front of your local supermarket holding a bucket right now, you can host a virtual collection from the comfort of your own home.
To start a virtual collection to raise funds for this vital work, you can set up a JustGiving page to take donations online and share it with your friends and family.

Heres what your money will do:
£100 could pay for a scientist to study the blood of someone with blood cancer and understand how much protection the covid vaccine gives them.
£320 is enough for a scientist to look at whether someone with blood cancer has produced T cells in response to the vaccine at four time points, helping them understand how long the vaccine provides protection for.
£1,000 will pay for 30 people with blood cancer to have an antibody test at 4 time points helping us understand what protection they get, and how long this lasts.
