100 Inning Marathon Softball Game

Summer is officially over and it is time for Spartan softball to hit the field again. Under the leadership of Chris Hawkins, we finished the 2023 season with a 38-17 overall record. The Spartans began their 2023 season with a 15-game win streak as well as being the last undefeated team in all of Division 1 before losing a 1-run game against Northern Illinois in early March.

In 2024, the Spartans will face five Power 5 programs. These include the University of Kentucky, Auburn University, Northwestern University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Georgia. The Spartans will also host 3 home tournaments in February where they will face the University of Kentucky at Cyrill Stadium. Once the Spartans complete their home tournaments they will get on the road and head to Auburn and North Florida for a tough spring break schedule. Our goal is to create a tough and competitive schedule early in the season to prepare us for our Big South Conference schedule.

The fall is such an important time for our team mentally, physically, and financially. Our main fundraiser in the fall is our annual 100 Inning Marathon Softball Game, on October 13, 2023, at Cyrill Stadium. With your support, we hope to raise $20,000. Pledges can be made by choosing the amount that is right for you on the enclosed pledge form. By supporting a softball player during the game, you provide funds critical to compete at a championship level.
