Story
Up2Us staff are taking part in the Glasgow Womens 10k and Mens 10k to raise money for their charity which supports young people in West Scotland aged 12-26.
The charity supports young people who have had a difficult start to life, and as a result find themselves repeating cycles of substance use, re-offending, and homelessness.
One young person said, "Just now Up2Us support my mental health, but in the past it was my re-offending. Just trying to stay out of it and now it's been four and a half years”.
Another young person said "I don’t know how many times I’ve been homeless and they’ve supported me. They don’t leave till you have somewhere and they fight your corner”.
We provide community and residential services that give young people someone to talk to, a safe place to call home, and help them on their journey to living independently. It's a difficult time for charities right now, and every donation goes a long way to support the work we deliver.
