Organised by North Texas Food BankUnidos 4 Hope is friendly competition among Hispanic/Latino led companies - including Employee Engagement Groups (ERG) - to fight hunger during Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15).
Story
Sharing food has always been an important part of Hispanic and Latino culture and heritage. Unidos 4 Hope celebrates this tradition by encouraging companies to participate in a friendly competition during Hispanic Heritage Month.
To meet our goals, we are asking your organization – including your Hispanic/Latino ERG – to form a team to raise funds, host a food drive, or volunteer at NTFB. Because Unidos 4 Hope is a peer-to-peer fundraiser, anyone can donate on behalf of your team.
This year, our goals are to:
• Raise $50,000, equal to 150,000 meals
• Collect 1,000 pounds of food
• Register 300 volunteer hours at NTFB
The North Texas' Hispanic/Latino community is an economic powerhouse with the resources and passion to make a difference in the fight against hunger.
