Story
Founded in the late 1970s, the Associates are dedicated volunteers and supporters whose common interest is to enhance the UNCSA student experience by supporting the school's faculty and staff.
The Associates provides community members with rewarding volunteer experiences and opportunities to engage with the school. All are welcome to join, with no donation required.
It's a privilege that a town the size of Winston Salem has a world-class conservatory in its midst. The Associates is a doorway anybody can walk through to see the process up close. ASSOCIATES ANNUAL GIVING
To carry out its mission of support to UNCSA, the Associates rely on financial gifts which are vital to its operations and traditionally collected in the fall. Through your generous support, the Associates will be able to continue its volunteer programs and events such as the fall launch event highlighting students, guest artists and faculty; special events offering glimpses of coming performances; campus tour guides; campus greeters; mail center helpers; and Pickle Pantry assistants who provide support to students with food insecurities.
ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
Most importantly, donations to the Associates help support the Associates Scholarship Funds. The Associates Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding talent and potential. The Scholarship Funds honor the Associates' longstanding commitment to advancing UNCSA's mission and enhancing the well-being of UNCSA's students.
