A catastrophic earthquake has devastated Morocco and a likewise a devasting flood has killed thousands in Libya.
The earthquake in Morocco was the most powerful one in the region for over a century a with the epicenter located near in the High Atlas Mountains, about 72 kilometers southwest of the city of Marrakesh. The death toll nears 3,000.
Flooding in Libya has left over 11,000 dead and survivors are living without basic necessities.
