As with millions of others around the world, we are witnessing the conflict unfold in Ukraine with grave concern for the innocent people affected by conflict. Lives are being lost, homes destroyed, and families torn apart. The situation in Ukraine is constantly evolving, but already The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) estimates that refugees fleeing Ukraine number in the millions.

As a humanitarian organisation we have a responsibility, as does the whole of the international aid community, to alleviate this suffering in any way we can.

At RedR UK, we plan on responding to the growing need for humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and Eastern Europe in the best way we know how; by providing support for humanitarians delivering aid and saving lives on the front line. This could include delivering training on topics such as shelter, protection, psychosocial support, personal safety, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

Our stated purpose - to mitigate the impact of crises on the most vulnerable people - moves us to act in this dire emergency, but we need funds to do this. That is why we're asking you, our supporters, for help.
