Would you and your family and friends consider forgoing Christmas presents this year and make a donation in lieu of presents to help us raise the money to build the Secondary School in Uganda for children who otherwise won't get to school? Thanks.
When Charlene Barr died in 2010, aged just 20 years old, she had set in motion a project that continues to this day bringing hope through education to children in Uganda. Charlene's Project is supporting 8 neighbouring primary schools in western Uganda and has just commenced building a secondary school in this community so that the children there are able to get a secondary school education
As Christmas approaches we are asking for donations to help us build the secondary school. We want children there to have the same opportunities for education as we enjoy here. As we look forward to Christmas we are asking if you or your family and friends would forgo Christmas gifts to each other this year and instead consider giving a donation to help these children receive a secondary education.

Charlene's Project was set up by Charlene Barr. Unable to go to school with deteriorating health she decided to fundraise to build a school in Uganda. She passed away in 2010 but her project continues and today Charlene's Project is working in 9 schools (8 primary and 1 secondary) in western Uganda.
