Story
Team Head and Neck are undertaking the 25k trek to raise funds for UCLH Charity, head and neck fund.
Head and neck cancer is a complex cancer that impacts patients ability to eat and drink, swallow, speak. We are hoping to raise money so that we can support the teams of surgeons, dietitians, CNS, speech and language therapists, oncologists and wards that look after these patients to access opportunities to pursue further education and research, ensuring we continue to give the best care. We hope to raise enough money to help our patients during their treatment with equipment and support through what is an extremely tough time. This is our first year of fundraising and we are heading into 20 years of celebrating the UCLH head and neck unit and we want to build on the world class service we provide to patients
