As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have opted to move what has traditionally been an in-person event to a virtual platform. UCAN's Youth Leadership Awards Power Hour affords us with the opportunity to continue forward in this effort to recognize this monumental time in the lives of our young people. Why?
Because they deserve it. The YLA Power Hour will highlight seven exceptional young leaders from UCANs programming.
During what will be a phenomenal event, UCAN will also recognize a distinguished business and civic leader with the John D. Nichols Impact award. This year's recipient is David J. Vitale, whose civic efforts have made a significant difference in Greater Chicagoland area.
