United By 2022 Legacy Charity is one of two official charities for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Your contribution will help us make the moment of the Games last, reaching those who need it most and leaving a long-lasting legacy. Your contribution will be granted to projects whose objectives meet the Games' mission like these:
More than 2 million children in England missed out on learning to swim as a result of the pandemic. Some of them might never learn. Leaving them without an essential life-saving skill and joining an already too high number of older children and adults who cant swim. Your contribution to United By 2022 could help us to pay for swimming and water safety lessons. £15 pays for one lesson and 10 lessons could help someone to obtain their 25 metre badge.
Help us make 2022 a turning point for young people who have been hardest hit by the pandemic. 2022 will be an unforgettable year of celebration and the Games will touch the lives of a million young people. Your contribution to United By 2022 matters - £15 could help to match a young disabled person with Games-related work experience. £50 could provide a mentor for a year. Birmingham and the West Midlands doesnt have enough provision of accessible play spaces. Inclusive play spaces allow children to connect with others in a positive way, relieve feelings of stress, stimulate creative thinking and exploration, boost confidence and enable children to enjoy the pleasure and benefits of play. Your contribution could help us towards the £50,000 needed to create an inclusive and accessible play spaces that will allow everyone to play together.
