Story
Twins Trust works with hospitals across the UK, investing in research into TTTS, TAPS, TRAPS and other complicated pregnancies effecting multiple birth pregnancies.
This includes investing in the expanded TTTS Registry, giving doctors more information for managing complicated pregnancies. The Registry has been collecting data since it was set up in 2015, and whilst originally created only for TTTS research, it has now expanded to include all complicated or high-risk multiple pregnancies, including TTTS. At the last report, which was in April 2023, data had been collected from over 2,000 high risk pregnancies at 43 hospitals, including those with TTTS or growth restriction, monochorionic twin pregnancies (which share a placenta), triplet pregnancies and more.
Twins Trust work needs to continue. We need your help. This work will save babies' lives and reduce neonatal admissions and with your support, with your help we are changing the world.
