Story

We're a charity on a big mission - to change the ratio of women in technology.

Women's creativity and input are crucial if we're to develop technology that works for all and that helps solve society's biggest issues. But with only 3% of women citing technology as their first career choice, there's much work to do.

With over 240 member organisations, we collaborate with industry, government and schools to inspire and attract more women into technology roles and change perceptions about technology careers. Since becoming a charity, we've reached over 17,000 children in classrooms around the UK, trained over 300 volunteers and developed a role model platform to showcase inspirational young women working in tech. But we want to do so much more!

With your support, we can develop new resources and initiatives to reach more girls and women across all stages of their lives - giving them the opportunity to play an equal role in developing the technology that shapes our world.

By donating, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a beautiful Bulgari Save the Children bracelet, kindly donated by Vanessa Vallely OBE, founder of WeAreTechWomen.

Together we can change the ratio.
