Story
ABTA Lifeline is calling on all travel industry staff to wear a tropical shirt on 22 July National Travel Agents Day, donate to the charity and make everyone smile. For those that don't have a bright shirt, you can still wear your favourite beach outfit! It's an opportunity to celebrate Travel Agents and support the charity in its ongoing efforts to help travel staff in need.
The last few years throughout the pandemic have shown just how vital the travel agent community is, looking after customers and travel industry partners alike. But LifeLine knows at first hand what a difficult time travel agents have had. ABTA LifeLine provided practical, emotional and financial support during this time to agents in real need. And now with the cost-of-living crisis there will be more agents needing LifeLine's support.
So, on 22 July show just how much you value Travel Agents by putting on your best Tropical shirt or beachwear, and donate £2 or whatever you are able to LifeLine. A small contribution right now could make a big difference to someone else. Every donation allows us to continue supporting our travel industry colleagues who need it most.
£50 will help with a basic food shop; £100 debt, benefit or housing advice, £300 counselling support. But the charity does so much more. From school uniform to fridges, funerals to crisis grants, our LifeLine stretches far and wide.
