Story
TRIBE Freedom Foundation was inspired by a 1,000 mile run from Odessa to Dubrovnik to raise awareness of modern slavery and fight human trafficking. This was the first Run for Love.
This November, the TRIBE community are setting off for Run for Love 3, the third instalment in the Run for Love trilogy. Over six days, the team of 250 runners will tackle 253 km and a total elevation 1.5 x Everest (!!) across the tropical islands of The Azores to fight modern slavery.
With your support, our goal is to raise £250,000 for TRIBE Freedom Foundation to help establish two new homes for victims of modern slavery in the UK. Working with our front line project partners, Ella's and Snowdrop, both centres will provide the highest quality long-term support, enabling a greater number of survivors to rebuild their lives, and protecting victims from homelessness, destitution and re-trafficking.
We believe life-changing challenges define us all and we will stick together, as a tribe to push our limits as a team and achieve something extraordinary.
Last month, Run for Love runners, Albert and Elise went to visit Snowdrop, one of our two project partners. Watch this video for an insight into the realities of modern slavery and the incredible progress which can be made by survivors who have access to quality long-term support.
Lets do this!!
