TRIBE 10% Project: 1,000,000 Mile Challenge
The TRIBE 10% Project is our challenge to each other in 2019 to improve and push our boundaries. We believe that small changes in nutrition, lifestyle and training can help us perform at least 10% better.
As part of the 10% Project, we will run 1,000,000 miles across 100 nationwide + virtual events in January 2019. Each participant will run to support TRIBE Freedom Foundation. The charity established by the TRIBE community to end modern slavery and fight human trafficking.
In 2019, TRIBE Freedom Foundatio are supporting two of the most innovative and impactful frontline projects:
Ellas Home is an East-London safe-house providing rehabilitation, accommodation, and support for women exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation. In partnership with Luminary Bakery, they also offer training and employment opportunities, helping survivors to regain independence.
Snowdrop is a Sheffield-based charity and one of the first in the UK to provide long-term follow-on support for survivors. They work with clients on an individual basis to ensure their personal and complex needs are met.
Watch this video for an insight into the realities of modern slavery and the incredible progress which can be made by survivors who have access to quality long-term support.
Over the next 6 weeks, we are looking for 100 members of the TRIBE community to be ambassadors to lead the events.
