Walking 32 miles along the Trent Valley Way

To celebrate 32 miles being added to the now 126-mile signposted Trent Valley Way, our staff and supporters are walking the new section as part of a fundraising appeal. Help them with their endurance feat and donate to Trent Rivers Trust!

The Trent Rivers Trust is a registered charity. Our team of river experts restores, protects, and connects people to the rivers in the Trent catchment. We advocate for wild, natural, and healthy rivers. When our rivers thrive our wildlife and communities will, too.

Story

Support the brave souls walking 32-miles on the Rugeley-Shardlow section of the Trent Valley Way. On the 1st October, our staff and supporters are setting off on a dawn-to-dusk challenge walking the latest addition to the Trent Valley Way.

Help us keep their spirits high by raising vital funds for the Trent Rivers Trust.

Your contribution will help us carry on with our restoration and educational work in the Trent catchment.

It'll help:

Create habitat for spawning fish, wading birds and other aquatic life

Work with schools and community groups to celebrate our rivers

Bring nature and natural river processes back into heavily engineered unnatural landscapes

Target pollution either from agriculture or sewage treatment through our projects or advocacy work

Plant trees and wildflowers, for example planting a tree with additional maintenance costs about £15
