Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. Yet it isn’t the priority it should be. There are estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia and 700,000 people caring for them. Many are undiagnosed and some could face the realities of their condition alone.

Dementia devastates lives, but it’s not an inevitable part of getting old. We can do something about it. Funding new research means we can find life-changing treatments and cures. And we can continue to help people living with dementia from day one.
