Story
You can make a difference to your community.
Many of our neighbours are struggling to feed their children, feeling isolated or at risk of losing their jobs and homes. The current Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to do more to support each other and our community.
We are asking for donations to support vulnerable local people and families living in poverty. We want to raise £250,000 to help those in need to access basic provisions such as food and medication, as well as making sure that anyone who is lonely or at risk has someone to talk to. All donations will go to local charities and community groups who are on the front line in helping people in need in the borough.
Trafford is a wonderful place to live and work, and at this difficult time we know that residents are coming together to support each other. The fund is another way of ensuring we can all look out for one another.
Together we can use this crisis to create a positive legacy for Trafford.
Any monies not spent during the current Covid-19 crisis will be used to support the relief of poverty in Trafford in line with Trafford Housing Trusts (THT) charitable objectives.
The fund is being administered by Charity Registration No: 1106967 (Trafford Housing Trust Limited) on behalf of the people of Trafford.
Please note: No donations made to the Trafford Crisis Fund will receive a return. All donations will be used for the stated charitable purposes. THT will provide updates on how donations to the fund are being spent on this page
