Story
We just completed a historic first-ever season of women’s and men’s NCAA Indoor Track & Field (December - March), which culminated with a first NCAA DII Indoor National Championship appearance! Throughout the indoor season we traveled to meets in Spokane, Seattle, Michigan, and Kansas and garnered 6 All-Region USTFCCCA performances, 4 in the women’s program and 2 in the men’s. We were also the only school in our (CCAA) conference to sponsor men’s indoor Track & Field this season, providing a remarkable advantage over other conference men’s programs in preparation for the outdoor season and incentives for prospective student-athlete recruitment. Six athletes captured NCAA provisional qualifying marks across the indoor hurdle, multis, 400m, and 800m events. It was quite a successful start to the indoor program and a spectacular springboard into the outdoor season.
