Story
Food Allergy Awareness Week takes place during the second week of May. During this time, we raise awareness for the 32 million Americans living with food allergies. Out of the 32 million Americans living with food allergies, 6 million are children at risk of life-threatening food anaphylaxis. Food Allergy Awareness Week is meant to shine a light on those who feel isolated due to their food allergies and advocate for their #FoodFreedom journey!
This year for Food Allergy Awareness Week, TPIRC & SCFAI are calling on the support of our community to raise awareness for others living with food allergies. Through peer-to-peer fundraising on JustGiving, we want the greater food allergy community to come together and fundraise on behalf of those striving for their #FoodFreedom. Together we can make a difference and put an end to anaphylaxis!
You can help fundraise for #FoodFreedom by creating a page and inviting your friends and family. We have provided some examples of how you can add a challenge for your donors to participate in while donating. Still, we want you to create a fundraiser that is personal to you and shares why you are so passionate about #FoodFreedom!
