Story
Will you help make a child's Christmas special this year?
Christmas is a time for joy, giving, and togetherness. However, for many families in Scotland, Christmas can be a challenging time. Some children will have no presents to open on Christmas Day morning. But, together, we can make a difference. We believe that every child deserves a Christmas.
We have launched the 12th annual Christmas Toybank Appeal. This year, we are again working with our partners at the Women’s Aid network in Scotland and several smaller charities: South Community Recovery Network, G15 Youth Project, Carbrain Primary School, Milnbank Monday Club, and the Family Contact Team at HMP Barlinnie.
We have identified hundreds of children and young people across Scotland who we aim to support this Christmas. Your generous donations will buy new toys or gift vouchers for those who may otherwise receive nothing this year.
Glasgow Women's Aid told us how grateful the organisation is for the support is has received. “It means that women and children living in refuge can enjoy their first Christmas in a safe home.”
Another organisation we helped last year told us: “The support from the Sarwar Foundation ensured young people celebrated Christmas, whom – without this support – would not receive a gift for Christmas. Thank you so much for your kindness. Without your support it just wouldn’t happen for these young people.”
This is the heart-warming difference we can make this Christmas.
But we can only do this with your support. We would be enormously grateful for any support you can offer, so please donate generously and help guarantee a Christmas for children and young people across Scotland. Please help bring smiles to children on Christmas morning.
