Story
Six days, ten hardy veterans, 352 miles across 14 counties, countless punctures and some stormy weather thrown in to boot - the Tour de Not Forgotten - which took place last week - was a huge success! Setting off from Marta Cunningham's grave in Ealing before cycling to Portsmouth, Poole, Taunton, Bristol and Hereford (veterans and supporters gathering at each stage to cheer them home) then finishing triumphantly at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire last Saturday, The incredible team tackled up to 90 miles each day on road bikes and adaptive hand bikes, constantly supporting and encouraging each other, and seemingly always smiling. They have raised well in excess of £10,000 so far for The Not Forgotten, as well as huge amounts of awareness and publicity.
