More important than ever

We are talking to parents and carers who don't know how they are going to afford Christmas this year. We have launched this appeal to raise funds to distribute gift vouchers to local families who are really feeling the pinch.

We ran our first, very successful Christmas Appeal last year and supported over 200 local children, but this year it has become clear to us that we must be more ambitious and reach more families in such challenging times.

Reaching the families that most need support 

We are working closely with local organisations such as Uttlesford Foodbank, Mind in West Essex, schools and local support agencies to help us make sure this support reaches the families that most need it.Through consultation with partners we estimate that there are more than 600 children in our area for whom this initiative would make a huge difference. For parents it would help ease some of the stress and anxiety that can be associated with Xmas when you are struggling to pay your bills. 

The more money we raise, the more children we can support. If we exceed our target, we will be able to reach further afield, as far as the money we raise allows us to go! 

An ambitious target

Can you make a donation to help us reach our target? We would like to provide £25 worth of vouchers to every child that is in need in our area this Christmas. This will mean that the children can receive a gift that is perfect for them: their hobbies, interests and aspirations.
