The people we support in our Newcastle services attend a community hub twice per month. Here they take part in various activities including baking, music and crafts. Most importantly it is a space to socialise, make new friends and meet up with old friends.

Michael said: he wishes the hub was on more, it’s a good place to meet up with other people. He enjoys the activities, chatting with people and having snacks

Maureen said: I like meeting up with friends, I like signing on the Karaoke and doing the crafts.

Helen said: I really like doing arts and crafts and baking. I would like to do more baking. It’s nice to see other people there.

The sponsored walk is to raise funds for another 12 months hall hire so that the community hub sessions can continue.
