Tom was found helpless and unable to move, his leg badly broken. We don’t know exactly how it happened, but given the cruel treatment black cats often face, it’s likely that he was hurt on purpose. Despite this heartbreaking start, Tom has shown incredible strength. Thanks to urgent surgery and a long recovery in a cage, his leg has healed, and he can now run, jump, and play like any other happy cat!

And happy he is—Tom is full of life! He loves zooming around, chasing his kitty friends, and climbing to the highest places. He has a playful, cheeky nature that makes him an absolute joy to watch. But when playtime is over, he loves nothing more than being close to his humans, curling up beside them, and watching birds from the window.

Black cats like Tom are often overlooked, but we know the truth—they are not bad luck. In fact, they are lucky, loving companions who deserve the same chance at happiness as any other cat. Tom has been given an opportunity to travel to his forever home and finally have the family he deserves. But he can’t do it alone.
