Story
Now more than ever, we need your help. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit families affected by dementia so hard. Admiral Nurses have been supporting families through some of the most challenging days they've seen - with support groups and centres closed, often looking after a person with dementia on their own, 24 hours a day.
The Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline has never been busier, taking calls from families feeling cut off and abandoned - helping them cope with lockdown, giving them tools for dealing with uncertainty and confusion, ensuring that no one ever has to face dementia alone.
Things might be a bit different this year - but making Time for a Cuppa has never been so important. Whether it's tea at the table, from a few metres away or a promise to meet up in the future, let the people you care about know you want to have a cuppa with them - all the while raising funds for life-changing Admiral Nurses to help families face dementia.
Time for a Cuppa week is 1st-8th May, but you can hold your event on any day or month that suits you. Find out more and sign up for your free fundraising pack at www.dementiauk.org/timeforacuppa
