Story
19/03/2023 Update: Once again, your support has been incredible and unprecedented. With 36 hours still to go, we are just £200 from hitting our biggest ever target. But we don't want to stop there. We have managed to secure a final £1,500 of additional funding so we can continue to double your donations up to a total of £29,000.
15/03/2023 Update: Thanks to your amazing support we have hit 95% of our target in just three days! Your generosity has been matched by a new sponsor who has added another £5,000 to the match pot.
Your chance to maximise your impact.
If you've supported Tibet Match in the past - thank you. In 2021, you raised £21,971 for our research partner Tibet Watch. And in 2022, we reached an incredible total of £25,667.
Between 13th - 20th March, any donation you make will be matched by one of our generous sponsors. The match pot is £8,000, which means your donation will be matched up to a grand total of £16,000.
Your support means that the cutting-edge research of Tibet Watch will continue for another year. During Tibet Match, your gift will be matched by one of our generous sponsors.
Tibet Watch are the leading experts in sourcing and sharing information about what's happening in occupied Tibet: one of the most closed-off places in the world. Using satellite and drone images, first-hand testimonies, and extensive analysis, Tibet Watch is building a picture of a human rights crisis that continues to escalate.
You wont hear about Tibet in the mainstream news. It was Tibet Watch who broke the news of Buddhist statue demolitions in Drago County last year.
Without Tibet Watch, knowledge about what's happening behind closed doors would be even more limited. And Free Tibet would not be able to run powerful campaigns - like when we successfully demanded the release of language teacher Rinchen Kyi.
