Story

Ten runners are swimming 10 miles on Saturday 18th September to prepare for next years challenge The Rampions! (Worthing Wind Farm).

Coming out of lockdown they wanted to put their fitness to the test whilst raising funds for their local homeless charity Turning Tides.

The champions are braving all weathers as part of their training for 3 piers and would love for their community to support them. Hoping to smash their £3,000 fundraising target, one of the champions explains:

"I am a volunteer at Turning Tides and fully support the fantastic work they do in helping and housing so many local people. Anyone of us can find ourselves homeless, it can happen to us, our neighbours, colleagues, our friends. We are preparing for a massive physical challenge that is both exciting and slightly scary. However, going through homelessness is the most terrifying experience that none of us should go through alone.
