At Trillium Health Partners (THP), emergency visits topped 277,000 in 2019/20 the second highest in Ontario and more than all the University Avenue hospitals combined. And while demand is growing in step with our population, COVID-19 has further exposed the urgent need for accessible, coordinated emergency care for our most vulnerable and marginalized populations.
