Story

Help us celebrate the Thirst Youth Cafe's 10 years of supporting local young people and the community.

Bishop's Stortford Youth Project is a non-profit youth work charity, and Thirst Youth Cafe is our hub in the heart of Bishop's Stortford. We provide support and a safe space for young people in the local community. We've had over 2,000 young people become a member since 2020.

The Cafe provides a warm space, that young people can have a drink and snack at, whilst playing games, and other social activities. We do outreach work via mentoring in 5 local schools, run day trips in the school holidays, and wellbeing sessions in collaboration with the NHS.

Past projects, have been to provide free dinners for anyone in the cafe, arts and crafts, music, planting seeds, photography, social action projects, Age UK Jubliee cream tea for the elderly, and more!

It costs over £165,000 a year to run the charity, and we need your help to keep the great work of the charity going. So please think about supporting us and the young people of Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding areas.
