Story
The Tour 21 class of 2024 will ride all 21 stages of the Tour de France route in 2024 - setting off from Tuscany on Saturday 22nd June, the team will tackle over 3,500km of the route, just one week ahead of the professionals.
The team will be made up of amateur cyclists from across the world and will work as team as they make their way across Italy and France across three and a half weeks - headed up by former England and Crystal Palace legend, Geoff Thomas, who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in 2003 and cured by Cure Leukaemia co-founder, Professor Charlie Craddock CBE.
The team's fundraising target is to raise over £1,000,000 for Cure Leukaemia, the official charity partner of the Tour de France in the UK.
Fundraising from the challenge is directly invested in the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) which helps those fighting the cancer across the globe, including three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond, who last year announced he is battling Chronic Myelogenous Leukaemia.
On behalf of our Doctors, Nurses and most importantly our brave patients, thank you for your generous support!
