Story
Can you help us invest in the next generation of creative talent?
East London Dance is moving to a brand-new home with music organisation UD, designed to enable young people experiencing disadvantage to realise their full potential. We've raised 95% of the £2 million needed to fit out the East London Dance building. We need your support to get us over the finish line.
For over three decades weve been dedicated to championing and serving the independent dance artists and communities of east London. This pioneering building allows us to go that extra mile; to provide under-served local communities with access to the benefits of dance; and allow under-supported dance creatives to connect with each other, be inspired, access the creative industries and find new audiences.
We see a world where creative talent is always met with opportunity, no matter where you come from. The Talent House is fundamental to making this vision a reality.
After 5 years of development, were almost there, but we need your help to raise the final £100,000 and open our doors to east Londons talented creative community. Please donate what you can.
What your support will provide:
Our fit-out is designed by award-winning architect, Katy Marks of Citizens Design Bureau. Our two dance studios, artist workspace and offices have been created with the kind support of our generous funders. These final funds will ensure that our spaces are fitted out at a professional standard, including lighting rigs and audio-visual equipment. It is really important to us that young people and our creative community have access to the best possible facilities in order to raise aspirations and support their career development.
