Story
Our Bolton NHS Charity is the official charity partner of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and we aim to go above and beyond what the NHS can provide so our patients receive the standard of care we'd want for ourselves, our families and our friends.
We know this winter is going to be challenging and we find ourselves in difficult financial times; however, our collective, community response to the Covid-19 pandemic - so far - shows great things happen when the Bolton community pulls together.
As a charity, we want to build connection and ensure that our patients, community and staff feel cared for this winter. We want to foster a community spirit within Bolton and get everyone involved so the cumulative effect of The Small Things is far-reaching and significant. By supporting our winter appeal: The Small Things, you are part of a team helping to make a big difference to our staff and patients in hospital or under our care this winter.
Just £5 could fund an activity pouch for a patient with dementia; a mindfulness support pack for a young person admitted to hospital in a mental health emergency, or a present for a child in hospital over Christmas.
The Small Things is an unrestricted appeal with funds raised going into Our Bolton NHS Charity's general purposes fund, giving the Corporate Trustee the flexibility to use charitable funds in areas that need it most. The examples listed above are just three of many potential ways in which the money may be used, but all will help to support staff and improve the NHS experience of our patients this winter.
If we are unable to meet our target of £25,000 your donation will still be used for the intended purpose. If the appeal becomes overfunded, excess funds will be used to benefit staff and patients over winter and beyond.
