Visit the charity's profileOn Sunday 21 April, we'll be joining together with Bristol Bears for a rugby match that will make a difference for patients and families across Bristol.
Together we'll be completing a six mile sponsored walk through a beautiful part of Bristol, along the river and through the Nightingale Valley, across the iconic suspension bridge, and back through the stunning grounds of Ashton Court. We'll end at Ashton Gate and celebrate together by watching the Bristol Bears V Newcastle Falcons game live!
This is a walk not to be missed. Whether you're walking in memory of a loved one, to support a friend or for some fun and fresh air while supporting a local cause, every mile walked will help current and future patients during the most difficult of times.
St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. They provide care, advice, support and therapy to patients and their families during the most difficult and challenging of times. All their care is provided free of charge, so they rely on the generosity of supporters and fundraisers to make their work possible.
The nurses just slotted in. They were like old friends. They were completely professional but so natural, it never felt like an intrustion having them there. They not only supported Mum, but me as well."
Your fundraising provides advice at the other end of the phone 24/7, a comforting hand and a nurse on the doorstep when and where it's needed most. The Rugby March aims to raise £45,000 in total for St Peter's Hospice, which could fund over 1,200 hours of care from the Hospice at Home team so patients can stay where they are most comfortable at the end of their lives.
